WE HAVE POOPS!!

I know it's gross, but I'm sure all of you mothers out there can relate. Morgan just now hollered, "I pooped, big poops, in the big toilet!" So I go running in, and sure enough - poop in the toilet and no trace of any in her panties! So we are off to buy a new baby doll and candy bar and anything else she wants...I promised her ANYTHING if she'd just poop in the toilet! WOOHOO!! Now if we could just get her to stay dry during nap and bedtime...baby steps, I know.

Chori Chori

Jamie found this video on you tube and shared it with us. You can see that the kids enjoy dancing to it, and listening to the boys sing it and laugh is great. He said that while he was in Iraq, every time he'd go to pick up his laundry the employees would be dancing and singing to this song. So I hope you enjoy my sharing this with you all.

Talking Ewok

Morgan has recently taken to talking a new language that she's made up on her own, Jamie calls it Ewok! When she gets mad she'll say, "You're MEAN, hlmpflhlmpflkefaldkjfhleirepiuovjknkh" and we can't seem to decipher what it is exactly she's saying. Jamie even got into an argument with her one day trying to get her to stop talking so mean to us, "Morgan, stop talking to me like that! I don't know what you're saying, but I can tell it's not nice!" So I attempted to get it on video, but instead I found her looking at her little photo album of her friends Adam and Alicia and when she realized I was trying to catch her she got a bit sassy and adamant about not wanting her picture taken. I caught a very slight blip of her ewok language, but it's very quick.

She is also not a very good sleeper, not that she has ever been, but it's getting very frustrating. She didn't sleep through the night until she was over 2, and now she's decided she's going to stay awake in her bed until around 10PM every night insisting we keep her door open. She wakes up several times throughout the night and IF her door is open or without the doorknob cover (that she can't maneuver) she will come out and visit anyone whose bedroom door is open or unlocked and also turn on EVERY single light on in the house. She begs for one of us to lay down with her when we put her to bed, and last night Jamie caved in and did...but you can see the results were awesome! Doesn't she look so sweet? He's such a good daddy! Too bad she woke up around 11PM screaming for her DADDY! Daddy found her wide awake around 4:45AM with her bedroom light on! Can toddlers have insomnia? I refuse to take her daily nap away, so there's got to be a better answer for this lack of ability to sleep...?

Birthday Greeting

I woke up Monday morning to a little girl who barged into our bedroom around 6AM announcing, "It's Mommy's Birthday. Happy Birthday, Mommy! I have poops." Like I've always said, Birthdays are just another day!

Those Noodles!

I went into Morgan's bedroom this morning to make her bed, leaving her in my bedroom. As I was leaning over the side nearest the wall I saw a single glove on the floor. So I picked it up and just chucked it behind me to put away as I would leave her room. As soon as I tossed it I heard, "It's raining gloves!" I turned around startled and found Morgan standing there looking at the glove! I couldn't help but laugh. It's amazing what thoughts run through her little spaghetti noodles!

Morgan Monet

Basketball

The boys play for the Bison and are on a fairly good team this year, compared to last year. Kaden is #23 and Kolton is #45...Jamie picked the numbers to reflect his early idol Michael Jordan. My camera and I do not have a very good understanding about taking shots that contain movement, so these are the best I could get. I thought I was recording Kolton's free throw shot, but apparently I pushed the button and got none of it! Hello! Kolton scored the first 2 points of the game on Saturday.

Jamie somehow was nominated "Stats Dad" for the games. At the end of each game a player is presented with the "Hustle Award" - which is a basketball hacky sack. These stats are VERY important to the kids.
The boys' biggest fan, she LOVES her ice!

Diaper Wreath

I made this for my neighbor - I've never made one before but it was pretty easy and so cute!

Who?....My Kid!

Only my child would demand a fork to eat a PB&J "sammich"!!

My neighbor is expecting her first baby, a boy, any day now and she had no use for this bottle. She thought maybe Morgan would want it for her babies, but as you can see...she's reverting. So much for potty training! I threw this away after she went to bed, not to be mean but to help her progress instead of regress.
