Pretty Toes

What lady wouldn't fall in love with a man that allows his little girl to do this to him? He preferred black, but since we didn't have it he chose the next best color!!

Can't forget the finishing spray.

Jokes: Morgan-style

Yes, we are now entering this lovely stage of jokes...enjoy.

First time on a boat

We have some great friends here that own a boat and offered to take us out for the day last Friday. What a way to end our summer break. The boys at first were against going (might have something to do with the fact that they have two little ones who are 3 & 5), in fact when they came out of their bedrooms they both had regular clothes on. They didn't beleive me that they'd need their swim trunks, silly boys! Morgan was the first one to jump in to swim and Kolton was first to volunteer to tube. Later in the day he kept taunting us to go faster by letting go of the tube and propping his hands up under his chin as if he were bored. So Jeramie gave him a run for his money and yanked him all over the place - he finally lost grip and went skidding practically in the fetal position! It was great fun. The kids came home telling Jamie they wanted a boat...

Morgan sat up at the front and at first said she wanted to go slower, but within a short time nothing was fast enough for her.

This is Kaden's buddy, Nolan...he's such a sweetie!

Kaden was more hesitant to get out here, he said he wanted to go slow and no side-to-side...before long he was trying to force himself over the waves! I think he enjoyed it.

Yup, even I got to go - even though I think Morgan went more than any of us...she loved it!

She kept giving the "faster" sign, she was cracking me up!

It was a perfect day to be in and on the water, the water was warm and the rain never came in.

Kolton attempted to use the wakeboard, but never quite made it up. He was quite a sport to try, though. I was so proud of him.

Kolton rode with Morgan, he really is a great big brother.

Kolton the Entertainer

Two of my friends have kids going into Kindergarten and had orientation that stated "no kids". So I offered to keep their kiddos while they went. Here you see Kolton entertaining the younger boys (nearly 22 months and 3 years old) by watching cat videos on You Tube!

Swimming with Daddy

Morgan had just stolen Jamie's boonie hat and came up face-to-face with him, it was so sweet...but when I went for the picture, Morgan pulled it down over her eyes. She has become quite the fish this summer. We started the summer with her still not liking water on her face or near her ears. She is now wearing goggles and swimming underwater - no nose-holding! She also jumps into the deep end and lets daddy throw her (but only in the shallow end), very brave. She loves the pool.

That's right ladies, that's my hottie muscle man!! :D

McWane Science Center, Birmingham

My friend, Kristen, and I loaded all the kids up and headed to Birmingham for the day...this was how things started (after the 90+ minute drive down).

Morgan-eating Fish!!

My sister was able to meet up with us, and the kids all had a blast. This was one of the favorites...digging for bones in rubber "sand".

Morgan & Kelsey

Boys will be boys - dumping "sand" on the other's head...hahaha!

We probably spent the most time here, it was hilarious. Cole was making butt-imprints, Kolton and Morgan were making face imprints...we laughed so hard.

Kolton's Time in Wichita

Kolton had the opportunity to spend a week with each set of grandparents in Kansas during June. He was kept very busy and had a blast. These are pictures from his time in Wichita with Grandpa Frank and Grandma Becky.

Tanganyika Zoo

I believe these are from the Salt Museum.

They had both boys here and took them to a zoo. I think they enjoyed themselves, even though it was pretty hot.
