Weekend Stuff

Weekends are for napping and playing salon (when trying to keep oneself awake for a decent bedtime). We love what she's done with her hair!!

Kindergarten Bound

Today is Morgan's first day of Kindergarten, and we are so excited that we get to walk this year!  When we moved here there were no sidewalk entrances to the elementary school, but now we have one - so no more lazy days of driving!!!  Hooray!!

Can you tell we're excited, we barely left the driveway and we're stopping for pictures! 

Daddy's Little Girl



As we entered the classroom there was a little boy just heaving and crying and clinging to his daddy's neck, out of nowhere a lump was in my throat and tears were forming...I said, "Oh no, I'm gonna lose it." and a mother said, "Please don't, or I will, too."  So I had to look away and take some deep calming breaths and redirect my thoughts...and not look back over at that poor little guy.
