Bathing Daddy

Morgan decided that her dollhouse family needed a bath, Daddy was first in line. Then we had to go on a "Grammy" hunt, we did find her - whew!...so she was able to join everyone else in the bath!

At the end of the video, Morgan started to say "I see it" - her favorite saying when a camera is in sight! She is all too interested in what footage is being caught than being caught as part of the footage!

Day at the pool

Morgan was so excited to "fwim" this morning, but I told her she couldn't until she took a nap so the water would be warmer. She woke up from her nap saying, "I fwim in fwimming pool"...so we changed. She was ok with me spraying her arms with sunscreen, but threw a fit when I applied it everywhere else. To lather her face with the stick, I had to pin her down - only to hit, miss, and smear! So I gave her the option to wear more sunscreen on her face or the hat -- total tantrum, but she did make a decision...as you can see below. I had to pull her hat on with one hand and pull her arms away from her face with the other and then dragged her out the back door kicking and screaming! As soon as she stepped outside the crying stopped and we were able to enjoy playing in the pool...whew! I think that equates to a workout, don't you?

Tantrum, Tantrum

Morgan's tantrums are really enjoyable...this has been happening about 3-4 times daily (some days more and some less). Girls are SO different than boys...or maybe singletons are different than twins? Not sure yet - too many variables!

It's only 9:30AM...

and she's already down for a nap. This is what happens when you wake up in the 4 o'clock hour!!

Sad day in the life of ME..confession time.

Ok, my husband is a UFC junkie...we have purchased almost every fight over the last 2 1/2 years or so. When he decided to travel to Iraq I used it as a "we'll save money" tactic. So here I sit on the first UFC FIGHT NIGHT and I've gone against my word...I bought the fight! Yep, I guess I'm a junkie, too! I have only listened to the first part, but now that Bisping is fighting, I must sign off so I can watch! I just wish I was in good company.

Pilates Roll

I tried to video Morgan twice trying to get on my pilates roll, but both times ended up the same way - she'd rather see what's being recorded! So this is the best I could do. She even has a pillow from the couch on it...as if she's actually going to be able to stabilize on the roll long enough to utilize it!

Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star

My attempt at getting Morgan to sing. She got a little distracted, but I was able to get her to finish the song...sort of. Excuse the heavy breathing, we were sitting on the exercise ball and I was balancing, singing and trying to keep her in focus.

Another "Girls" shot

Thank you Kolton for taking our picture! Morgan refused to have this clip in her hair, so I snuck it in for a few minutes to lotion her up after her bath.

Just-A-Swing'n

I was cleaning out Morgan's closet Friday morning and decided to go ahead and put the swing together so that it would store better. When she saw it, she decided that she needed to swing...and insisted on being belted in with the music & mobile on! I know she still meets the weight requirements, but I'm thinking she's a bit over on the height!! When she finally decided to get out, she put her baby in the swing...which was pretty cute. I was able to pack the swing away later without her catching me, but she still asks about it...I'm hoping she doesn't venture into her closet or there will for sure be a nasty tantrum to follow!

With MY Butterfly, who needs real ones?

"Cheese, Daddy!"

This one's just my size!

Sharing with Emily, aren't they adorable?

All of the gym rats' kids...Seth, Emily, Brooks, and Morgan!

Nith!

Morgan was petting the "nith" dinosaur!

Morgan and the boys

Here, Morgan is holding Seth's hand...that's Brooks' brother. He was so sweet, he held his finger out for her to hold onto and led her up the stairs to the lookout!

Here's the gym rats...or babies of, anyway. Their mom is my gym partner that pushes me to get my butt in gear!

MOPS day at the Botanical Garden

Morgan is holding Brooks' hand, Brooks is her friend from the gym daycare.

Cheesy, girl!

Morgan and Emily are sharing a pose...Emily is our friend from MOPS and the gym.

Still a cheesy girl!

Just Us Girls

This is the best I could do with Morgan's gaze. She was saying "cheese", just not looking at the camera!

Since I'm usually the one behind the camera, I decided to turn it around today...now maybe the kids will have a record of what I look like!

Mom! By Sally Krempasky

I read this in a magazine and had to share it...all of you MOMS will definitely relate.

Every time I'd sit
on the toilet a bit
my little one would always shout
"MOM!"

Or pick up the phone
to dial someone's home
you could guarantee I'd hear "MOM!"

From the naps where I've been awakened
to the showers I've taken
they've always been interrupted with
"MOM!"

Just once I'd be glad
if they'd just shout "DAD!"
instead, they always shout "MOM!"

Another Photo Shoot

After seeing the boys' Spring pictures, I decided we needed an update of Morgan's - only without the studio visit. So here's the result of that great idea. Still not sure any of it's frame-worthy, but it's something!

Let it rain, what...No Butterflies?

We ran into the Nature Center to get out of the rain, only to find out it was a netting overhead! It was a little drier, but there weren't any butterflies yet.

Morgan enjoyed looking at the turtles in the water and in the pin.

Along the trail

The boys were immitating the tree's face...pretty good, eh?

Kaden was determined to climb this stump...pretty impressive in Crocs!
