After working a horribly long week, Jamie was finally able to just prop his feet up and catch some TV with the rest of us. Morgan missed her Daddy!

Morgan's First Pedi
Last weekend the neighbors invited us for a "Spa" morning. Morgan's so iffy about doing anything (acts scared when I mention going to get her hair trimmed), I was a little worried about how she'd handle someone else touching/grooming her feet. She did FABULOUS! She opted out of a manicure, but afterwards she said she'd like her nails done next time. When the green mask was being applied to my legs/feet, she looked at my legs, curled her lip up, and asked, "What's that?"...she looked frightened! I reassured her that they weren't going to put that goop on her legs, and she seemed to let her guard down a bit.
Soaking those tootsies with Madelyn...aren't they so sweet holding hands?
On the edge of relaxation...
I think she likes being pampered.
Morgan's getting annoyed with me snapping pictures. She pointed to me at one point, and I mouthed "What?" and she flattened her hand out and swiped it sideways and mouthed, "Stop it!"
Of all the colors, she chose a light pink...but the technician added a glitter top coat.
I think she's hooked, Daddy's wallet better watch out!

Lake Party
We were invited out to the lake yesterday evening to celebrate a friend's birthday. the boys enjoyed fishing, Morgan ran around with Brooks finding feathers, and we all had a turn in the canoe. Here are some pics from our outing.
Brooks, Seth, and Morgan are warming up to each other again while they wait to dig into the pizza.
Papa Davidson was so excited to see his girl, Morgan. It took her a few minutes and she said, "You used to be my Papa." That hurt his feelings (wink, wink)! He told her she'd better call him Papa! Then she ran over, hugged him, and this was shorly after that.
Trouble's abrewing!
Sometime later Brooks and Morgan needed to use the restroom, so Papa walks up to let us know they were running for the potty...and off they went. When he came back he told us that when they arrived at the restrooms, he made sure the women's bathroom was empty and told Morgan she could go on in. He took Brooks and when they came back out, Morgan was standing there. She asked him, "Is this a public bathroom?" to which he said, "yes"...so she followed with, "Can you put paper down for me?" And he did!! What an awesome Papa!!!
Brooks and Morgan, deep in conversation.
Brent took Kolton out in the canoe, but by the time I remembered to take pictures...they were docking!
Kolton told me that while he and Brent were "way on the other side", they could hear Kristen and me cackling. He told Kolton that we are the only two women he knows who can go out for 4 hours for coffee!! LOL!

OUR TURN!!! I haven't been in a canoe since my 8th grade campout, but I think I did better this time!
Us cackling!!
Cake time
Morgan was man-handling this poor fish that they caught...no fear.
Getting Morgan ready for a canoe ride.
Ready to go.
Here comes Brent and Kaden to pick Morgan up.
And off they go.
Brent trusted the boys to carry the canoe back up to the truck, and Morgan was hot on their heels.

Naptime
Morgan fell asleep in my arms at the computer desk, when I went to move her to her bed she sat up and told me she wasn't tired. She really threw a sassy fit, but look what I found a few minutes later...yup, face burried and snoring away!
