Monte Sano - Insect Hunting

The boys' first project for 7th grade was an insect display. They were to capture 20 different insects or take a picture of 40...so we chose to collect 20 a piece. I didn't think to snap pics while we were hunting (because I was the one capturing most of the bugs), but the reward for Morgan was the playground after the hike!

I think the kids enjoyed looking at the games as much as they enjoyed bowling. There was no change machine, so they got to play with the few quarters we could all scrounge up.
