Outing

The kids and I headed over to Bridgestreet to see "UP" today. Here we are sitting in front of the theater until showtime.

Handprints

I realize these are very blurry, but I took them with the cell phone and I couldn't really tell what the picture looked like in the sun! Morgan was trying to see her hand and foot prints after getting out of the pool - it was hilarious to see, so I had to snap it!

FAMILY!!!

Jeff was in Nashville on business and Gina was privileged to be able to go with him. Since they were so close, they came down for the night. They are so much fun, never a dull moment. We LOVED having them here and can't wait to be with them again! Thanks to Gina (Facebook), here are some pictures that were taken during their time here.

Rainbows

We had some storms roll through this evening, and this time they actually left us a pretty present...not a nasty one!

A little later Kolton came in to tell me there were actually 2 rainbows...so I tried to get a shot. Maybe if you look really close you can see them both.

5th Grade Party

Last Thursday was the boys' End-of-the-Year party, here are a few shots of that afternoon. It turned out to be a very warm and windy day. I know the boys had a good time, and they're definitely excited about entering Middle School in August.

Art

I have found that if I create a place for Morgan at the computer desk, she will color until her heart's content and allow me to browse the internet or pay bills! She's such a good girl...and loves to color and use stickers.

Easter

I'm really not sure who had more fun, Morgan or Daddy! Morgan was thoroughly interested in doing it herself, but once Jamie had it all to himself he started experimenting with new colors and making multi-colored/half-n-half eggs!

Bubbles

Morgan and I were out blowing bubbles and I ran in for the camera. She decided she was going to refuse a photo session and turned around! Oh well, I tried.

In like a lion?

We had a "storm" come through yesterday and for the first time in our adult life, we experienced some damage.

Here's our 14'x16' trampoline in our neighbor's front yard.

And the fence it took out during its flight!

Jamie was bummed that the van was still in the driveway! Hahaha!

View from neighbor's front porch. There are normally two rocking chairs on the front porch, the storm took the one nearest the front door (middle of the porch) and sent it into the field behind their backyard! They also lost part of their fence and so did their neighbors on both sides. They had a sun-shaped bird feeder attached to the fence by a small nail...it was still attached, but the fence section was lying on the ground.

It also picked up our playset and tried to send it packing, too - but it fought back a little harder than the trampoline!
