When it's too quiet...
It seems my trust of Morgan around my scrapping supplies is on shaky ground now...but don't her feet look cute with those stickers?

Pretty Piggies
I'm really struggling with this jammies phase, and I'm ready to throw in the towel. I was actually able to convince Morgan to let me put her hair up today, but she may end up going to the gym like this - piggies and pj's! The only way I could get her to stand still for the picture was to tell her it was "for Daddy". Hey, it worked didn't it?

It's beginning to feel like Christmas!!!
I'm so excited, I'm so excited! We actually have exterior Christmas decorations this year - woohoo!! Jamie worked on decorating yesterday. Unfortunately we found out after dark that two strands of lights that we purchased don't work. Rats! Neither one of us claim to be experts, but I'm pretty impressed with what we've come up with so far. It's better than nothin'!
Kolton is eyeing his dad's handywork

Jamie working on the lights and letting his cider cool off.
Just a touch of spirit on the side of the house...not sure what we're doing with the bales of hay.

Christmas with Gramma & Papa Larry
After the Nebraska game (around 7PM) we went to see the Galaxy of Lights . It was so pretty, but there were a LOT of cars...guess we weren't the only ones with this GREAT idea! We returned home ready to celebrate. Because Gramma and Papa Larry live in Kansas and we won't see them for Christmas, we celebrated the night after Thanksgiving.
Here are the kids, patiently waiting to rip into those presents. Gramma always goes overboard!

I'm told I'm the devil, guess the eyes hold the truth - hahaha! Morgan was given a doctor's kit and couldn't wait to open it up and start examining everyone.

Kolton is excited about his gift - a DS game.

Kolton's other gift - now we just need to look into lessons.

Morgan also got a shopping cart (notice Daddy in the background putting it together) and a bucket full of pretend food. I think she's enjoying a donut.

Kaden's other gift was a Nerf Ironman - automatic gun...it shoots 10 darts from a magazine in quick succession. It sounds like a pack of firecrackers going off!

I think Morgan is an expert at this unwrapping thing!

Look how they light up, how cool! Dad, you have no bugs in your ears - you're healthy.

Papa Larry, or Santa's substitute.

Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is all about family and this year we were blessed to have them with us. Jamie's mom and stepdad came from Kansas for the week and my sister and her family came up from Birmingham for the day. The kids played all day and we all just ate and enjoyed each others' company. Thanks for joining us, family!
