Christmas with Gramma & Papa Larry

After the Nebraska game (around 7PM) we went to see the Galaxy of Lights . It was so pretty, but there were a LOT of cars...guess we weren't the only ones with this GREAT idea! We returned home ready to celebrate. Because Gramma and Papa Larry live in Kansas and we won't see them for Christmas, we celebrated the night after Thanksgiving.

Here are the kids, patiently waiting to rip into those presents. Gramma always goes overboard!

I think Morgan is an expert at this unwrapping thing!

I'm told I'm the devil, guess the eyes hold the truth - hahaha! Morgan was given a doctor's kit and couldn't wait to open it up and start examining everyone.

Look how they light up, how cool! Dad, you have no bugs in your ears - you're healthy.

Kolton is excited about his gift - a DS game.
Papa Larry, or Santa's substitute.

Kolton's other gift - now we just need to look into lessons.

Morgan also got a shopping cart (notice Daddy in the background putting it together) and a bucket full of pretend food. I think she's enjoying a donut.

Kaden's other gift was a Nerf Ironman - automatic gun...it shoots 10 darts from a magazine in quick succession. It sounds like a pack of firecrackers going off!

Gramma and Papa Larry's turn to open gifts.

Dad is enjoying his turn on Kolt's guitar - taking a break from putting the shopping cart together.

Morgan patiently waited about 2 hours for her shopping cart, she was such a good girl! She didn't hesitate filling it up and pushing it around.

When we went in to check on Morgan around 11PM this is how we found her - sleeping with her doctor kit. Jamie couldn't pry those out of her hands!
